Carve Your Own Path Supports Youth Mental Health at the Youth Hope Initiative Rally
We were honored to participate in the Youth Hope Initiative Youth Rally at Cuyahoga Falls High School Auditorium! Hosted by the Alliance for Healthy Youth, this inspiring event brought together local leaders, high school students from across Summit County, and community mental health organizations to affirm the importance of youth health, wellness, and hope.
The highlight of the day was an empowering keynote address by World Champion NBA player and mental health advocate Kevin Love. Sharing his personal journey with anxiety and depression, as well as the mission of the Kevin Love Fund, Kevin reminded everyone that seeking support is a sign of strength.
Real Impact: What Local Students are Saying
The core mission of the Youth Hope Initiative is ensuring our youth know they are never alone and that local help is always within reach. Early feedback from student exit ticket responses shows just how deeply this message resonated:
"There are plenty of places I can go to get help."
"I learned the resources I can use to obtain help if I ever need it."
"Mental health is very important to anyone."
"There are SO many resources in our area to help with mental health. I wasn't aware of the sheer number of resources in our area."
Learned about key crisis tools, including the 988 Lifeline.
