Practicing yoga can help promote restoration, rejuvenation, and reflection for a full mind, body, and soul connection.

Yoga is a physical, mental and spiritual practice that originated in ancient India around 400 C.E. The word yoga is derived from the Sanskrit root yuj, meaning  “to unite”. The practice aims to create union between body, mind and spirit, as well as between the individual self and universal consciousness. Akasha Yoga™

Every Other Week on Tuesdays from 6:00-7:30 pm 

As humans, we work so hard to try to effort ourselves out of problems, to find answers. We get ourselves into all sorts of binds and struggle to find solutions. We endure situations we do not enjoy and try to think our way out of them. But the higher truth is we can’t think our way out of anything unless we are aligned and balanced. Akasha Yoga is a bridge to connect you to that which you are seeking: Answers, solutions, alignment, joy, clarity, worthiness, healing, and love.

This is a 90-minute Akasha Yoga™ workshop where we explore tapping into this energy field for the purpose of three intentions: Inquiry, Imprint, and Integration. During practice, 8-fields are used: sacred prayer, guided meditation, asanas, chanting, sound, breath, reflection, and foundational truths.

One could say that the ultimate purpose of practicing Akasha Yoga is to come into alignment to receive the ancient wisdom that resides within you.

Reiki and Restore Yoga

Every Other Week on Tuesdays from 6:00-7:30 pm 

This form of embodied yoga brings together the practices of breath work, meditation, gentle yoga, and reflective thought. Lisa is bringing the best of both emotional and physical wellness to this experience. Bring your journal to explore your truth and expand your authentic self. The aim of this class is to mindfully support our wholeness and well-being. Reiki and Restore is for everyone! 

This is a 90-minute restorative yoga workshop with gentle postures with the assistance of blocks, straps, blankets, and bolsters. The more comfortable the pose, the more reflective and restorative you will be. Reiki will be transmitted while you relax and restore your emotional and physical self.  Reiki can be hands-on or hands-off for this practice. 

ONE-ON-ONE YOGA SESSIONS

Yoga is facilitated by Lisa Schaefer. Lisa is a Licensed Social Worker who brings her experience of being a Certified Yoga Instructor (RYT-200), Certified Restorative Yoga Teacher, and a Reiki Master to create an environment for healing.

Private Yoga Sessions

A private, one-on-one yoga session is a great fit for anyone who is interested in the mind-body-soul healing benefits of yoga, yet prefers an individualized experience. This option can be a great introduction for those new to yoga or an added support for those already versed in the practice.

This is a 60-minute restorative yoga session, tailored to individual needs, through a trauma-informed and holistic healing approach.

  • Reiki

    Reiki is a form of holistic therapy where our practitioner transfers energy to the patient to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. During a typical session, you will lay down or sit comfortably while our Reiki instructor lightly places their hands on or near the body, focusing on specific energy centers. Reiki can help reduce stress, alleviate pain, support the immune system, and encourage spiritual growth.

  • Professional Education Services

    We strive to help other mental health professionals to gain the necessary skills and knowledge to support their clients effectively through evidence-based care. Our continuing education opportunities and clinical training and supervision services play a vital role in producing skilled and compassionate industry leaders who can make a significant difference in the lives of their clients.
