Chronic Health and Chronic Pain Conditions

Living with chronic pain or illness can be overwhelming, so we offer integrative support to help you manage the emotional toll, build resilience, and reclaim your quality of life.

What are Chronic Health and Pain Conditions?

According to the Centers for Disease Control, chronic diseases, such as heart disease, cancer, and diabetes, are defined broadly as conditions that last 1 year or more and require ongoing medical attention or limit activities of daily living or both.

Individuals living with chronic health and chronic pain conditions often also experience emotional/mental health concerns. These arise due to the intensity and/or amount of symptoms, overwhelm with appointments, impacts on social life/relationships, medication effects, and more.

Those living with chronic health and/or chronic pain conditions may feel alone and unheard, which can exacerbate both physical and mental health symptoms.
